Goat's lover dies in Kausambi, Uttar Pradesh

In Sayara Mithapur Nihalpur village of Sirathu taluka in Kausabi district of Uttar Pradesh, a lifelong lover had performed the funeral rites after the death of his goat. People were amazed when a goat's funeral procession came out with the tune of Ram Naam Satya Hai. The goat was also beheaded in mourning and it has been decided to perform the thirteenth ritual at the end of 15 days of the goat's death.

According to the information received, a home guard named Ram Prakash Yadav has been rearing a goat in this village near Kausabi for the last 3 years. He was very fond of goats. Kallu Bakra had been ill for some time and Ramprakash had stopped him from going on duty. The last two days he had also stopped eating. The goat was given a lot of medicine to improve his health but could not save the life. The goat's name was Kallu who was considered as a brother in this loving family. Family members mourned the death of their Valsoya Kallu just two weeks ago.
