Frightened by India's Raphael, Pakistan buys 25 new fighter jets from China overnight

New Delhi, December 30, 2021

Frightened by India's Raphael fighter jets, Pakistan has bought 25 J-10 fighter jets from China overnight.

Pakistan's Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said all the aircraft would take part in the Pakistan Day celebrations on March 23. China claims the aircraft is one of the world's best fighter jets.

However, a Pakistani lawmaker has questioned its capability. It is being denied that the pressure from China has forced Pakistan to buy these aircraft. Japan estimates that China is currently using 468 such aircraft.

Experts believe that China has built this aircraft based on the design of the US F-16. Pakistan has long wanted to buy this aircraft from China.

Meanwhile, Dr. Afnan Khan, a Pakistani MP and leader of the Nawaz faction of the Pakistan Muslim League, says that Pakistan already has J-10s and newer upgraded versions of the new aircraft. Of these, the JF-17 needs to be upgraded and a fifth generation fighter jet needs to be built.

The J-10C, which Pakistan bought from China, weighs 18 to 20 tonnes and can carry a weight of 6.5 tonnes. The PL-15 missile has a range of 200 km. It is alleged that the ambassador provided the information to Hussein.
