New cases of coronavirus omicron variant are on the rise in India. Another person from Finland who came to Pune in the last week of November also tested positive for Omicron. Thirteen people who came in contact with him have been traced and tested. The woman has mild symptoms while the other five have no symptoms. Three of the six are under the age of 18 and have not been vaccinated while the other three have taken both doses of the vaccine. All the patients have been admitted to Jijamata Hospital in Pimpri Chinchwad. The person from Finland tested positive for corona, the health ministry said.
Similarly, four members of a family in Rajasthan reached Jaipur on November 9 via Dubai and Mumbai from South Africa. Here his corona report came positive. The Ranchi resident came to Doha from Tanzania and Delhi from there on December 2. He has taken both doses of the vaccine. He spent a week in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is currently admitted to Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Narayan Hospital.
The health ministry said that out of the old cases of corona deaths in Bihar, the number of deaths from corona in the country on Sunday was more than 4.5, of which 4.5 deaths were reported in Bihar.
