Aung San Suu Kyi sentenced to four years in prison for inciting civilians against the army

A court in Myanmar's capital has sentenced ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi to five years in prison. He has been sentenced on charges of inciting the general public and violating the rules regarding corona.
The army revolted from the hands of the two-year-old Nobel Prize-winning leader and took power on February 1. A series of cases were then filed against him. Because of this, his party, the National League for Democracy, is expected to hold sway over the next five years.
In fact, the case of spreading this provocation is about the provocative statements made by his party on Facebook. But the truth is that at that time, Suu Kyi was taken into custody by the army. In the case filed in connection with the Corona virus, he was present at a publicity meeting in November last year.
The court proceedings against Suu Kyi were held behind closed doors. Myanmar's constitution prohibits those who have been jailed from holding high office or becoming members of parliament, so it is being considered a conspiracy to punish them and keep them out of power in the coming years.
