Kabul: The Taliban, which has taken anti-women decisions, has now made a decision in favor of women. The Taliban has banned forced marriages in Afghanistan. The Taliban have started making such decisions after pressure from developed countries.

Many countries have refused to recognize the Taliban government in Afghanistan. It also demanded that the Taliban act in accordance with a democratic rule. Poverty has risen sharply in Afghanistan since the Taliban took power.

Many families have started selling their daughters at an early age and buying them for weddings. While the number of forced marriages has also increased. Which is currently banned by the Taliban. Top Taliban leader Hibatullah Akhunzada said that both men and women should have equal rights. Women should not be pressured in any way for marriage.

However, there is no specification as to what the minimum age for marriage should be. Earlier the age limit was kept at 16 years. Women have been discriminated against in Afghanistan for years. However, there are still restrictions on women's education by the Taliban in Afghanistan.
