The service of providing cooked food to the passengers in the train will be resumed


New Delhi: The Railway Board has ordered the resumption of cooked food service for train passengers. The service was shut down following a coronavirus outbreak. The Railway Board has directed the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to resume the service.

Earlier this month, the railways also announced the launch of normal trains. The order to start the cooked food service by the Railway Board states that it has been decided to resume the cooked food service keeping in view the needs of the passengers of the train when the normal train service has started.
