Stanley, father of UK PM Boris Johnson, has been accused of molesting a woman MP

Caroline Knox said in a TV discussion that Stanley had slapped her on the buttocks in 2003

LONDON: A senior Conservative British woman MP has accused Prime Minister Boris Johnson's father, Stanley Johns, of touching the Tories at an annual conference in Blackpool in 2003 when they were both candidates in a parliamentary election.

In a panel discussion on violence against women and girls on Sky News TV, Caroline Knox, chair of the Parliament's Women and Equalities Select Committee and former minister, said Stanley Jones was slapped on the buttocks.

Knox, now 49, said he remembers being a leading leader and the Conservative candidate for Tainbridge Devon at the time. He tapped me hard on the buttocks and said oh, romsie, your buttocks are lovely.

Knox has been a Member of Parliament for Romsey constituency since 2010. When asked who the slapping dignitary was, Knox replied that Stanley Jones had treated me like this. Johnson Sr., now 81, was not elected at the time. I was 30 at the time.
