Poisonous liquor in Bihar: Minister says people should be careful where police arrive

Following the ban on alcohol in Bihar, the number of deaths due to poisonous liquor is on the rise.

In the latest case in Bihar, more than 25 people have died in three districts in the last fortnight due to poisoning.

Later, Bihar government minister Narayan Prasad visited the area and, in response to a question from reporters, made a startling statement that the entire government would put police in place. So he can be held responsible.

"Police officials have reached the spot after the incident. The hospitalized people are getting good treatment. In Bihar, after the ban, some people are secretly drinking alcohol and some are making poisonous liquor which causes damage," he said.
