As part of the Bharat Gaurav Seva, launched by Indian Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Tuesday, Indian Railways will lease trains to companies that have to run trains on various tourist-centric routes in the country with certain themes. Permission will be granted to provide the facility as desired.

Indian Railways has also started preparations to make the service a complete success as it has already allotted 190 trains separately. These trains can only run on a specific themed tourist circuit.

It may be recalled that Indian Railways had earlier planned to lease some goods trains to private companies before launching this service. Has been started for.

These will not be regular trains running as per schedule. We have also set aside 3033 coaches for these 190 themed trains. After passenger and goods trains, now we will also run trains of Bharat Gaurav in the field of tourism.

These trains will publicly showcase India's glorious historical heritage and Indian culture. "We have started inviting invitations from interested parties to avail this service from today," Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said at the launch of the scheme on Tuesday.

Any citizen of the country, tour operator, society, trust, some companies or a group of tour operators or state governments can apply to run a train on lease on some famous tourist circuit. Currently, the state governments of Orissa, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have shown interest in the scheme, he added.
