Now I will form an alliance with BJP in Punjab: Amarinder Singh




Former Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has made an important announcement that now that the agricultural laws have been withdrawn, he will fight the next assembly elections in Punjab in alliance with the BJP.
After announcing the withdrawal of agriculture laws to the Prime Minister, former Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh said that he now had no problem in forming an alliance with the BJP in the Punjab Assembly elections.
Earlier, there was speculation that BJP and Amarinder Singh would form an alliance in Punjab. At the time, Amarinder Singh had said that if the agriculture laws were withdrawn, he would form an alliance with the BJP.
Advising the farmers, the captain added that no one else could do as much as the Prime Minister did, adding that the farmers should go home after concluding the agitation. The captain also recommended to the farmers that the Prime Minister has apologized on National TV so they should be forgiven. Opposition groups called for a boycott of the assembly, saying "this is a historic decision."
It may be mentioned that after the Congress removed Amarinder Singh from the post of Chief Minister of Punjab, there was speculation that an angry Amarinder Singh would join the BJP. Meanwhile, Captain Amarinder announced the formation of a new party.
