Modi inaugurated the redeveloped Rani Kamalapati railway station in Bhopal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the redeveloped Rani Kamalapati railway station in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal. This railway station was formerly known as Habibganj.

The railway station was recently renamed after the Queen of the Gond Empire of Bhopal. World class facilities have been developed in this railway station during the renovation.

On the occasion of inauguration, Modi said that modern facilities like airport have been developed in this railway station. The railway station has facilities like modern toilets, quality food, hotel, hospital, smart parking.

He further said that EPI (Every Person Is Important) culture has started in VIP culture. He further said that similar to this railway station, 12 other railway stations of the country are being redeveloped. Indian Railways will launch 3 Vande Bharat train in the next two years.

It may be mentioned that Rani Kamalapati Railway Station is the first railway station in Madhya Pradesh with world class facilities. Which has been redeveloped under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi said that today is a day of confluence of Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh with a glorious history and a glorious future for the entire country. The modern and bright future of Indian Railways is reflected in this modern railway station in Bhopal.

Prime Minister Modi further said that this railway station in Bhopal has not only been redeveloped but the importance attached to it by the name of Rani Kamalapati has also increased.
