Lucknow: A father raped his own daughter in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The court ruled in the case and sentenced Kaluyag's father to death. The father was prosecuted on the basis of the mother's complaint.

Uttar Pradesh court judge Nitin Kumar Pandey also imposed a fine of Rs 51,000 on the accused. And sentenced to death. The incident was registered at Sujaili police station. The victim is 14 years old and her mother had lodged a complaint against her own husband for raping her.

The complaint was lodged on August 25 under the Pox Act. In which it is stated that this minor girl was married. However, he was later brought back home by his father and then raped.

"I have been in trouble for the last two years. My father threatened me if I told anyone," the victim told the family. The court handed down the verdict within three months of the case being filed and sentenced the convict to death.
