CDS Bipin Rawat on Sunday delivered an important message regarding the Indian Army. He stressed that the army does not need to be deployed on disputed borders all year round. He also targeted China during his speech. Referring to Sardar Patel, he said that he worked to show China a mirror.

According to Bipin Rawat, Sardar Patel always saw Tibet as an independent country. They wanted to make it a buffer country to prevent Sino-Indian border conflict. Rawat claimed that the Sardar had written a letter to Pandit Nehru mentioning this.

Here it becomes necessary to know two things. First, a buffer state is a country located between two countries where there has been a long-running conflict. The buffer country is trying to reduce tensions between other countries. China, on the other hand, has always considered Tibet its share. When Bipin Rawat calls Tibet independent through Sardar Patel's statement, China is bound to be outraged.

During his address, Bipin Rawat opened many old pages of history. Through it, he also shared his thoughts on the current Indo-China situation. "Whenever a country ignores its own military, external forces try to take advantage of the situation," Rawat said.

India toppled its security apparatus in 1950 and suffered the consequences of the 1962 war with China.

Rawat said that even after 1962, there were several conflicts between China and India. Then in 1967 in Nathu Lama of Sikkim, in 1986 in Wangdung, in 2017 in Doklama. According to Rawat, the Indian Army is now active on the border.
