600 farmers martyred, no leader spoke, no mourning proposal came: Satyapal Malik

Shillong, Ta. Monday 8 November 2021

Meghalaya Governor Satyapal Malik has once again targeted the central government over the farmers' movement. He said that 600 people were martyred in the peasant movement, but no leader spoke and no mourning was proposed in the Lok Sabha. Not a single letter has come from Delhi. Whenever an animal dies, the leader of Delhi issues a message of condolence. At the Global Jat Summit held at the Bidla Auditorium in Jaipur, Malik supported the farmers' movement and appealed to the central government to talk to the farmers. "I am speaking against the wishes of the 2-3 people of Delhi who made me governor but I will resign immediately when he says so," he said.

Famous scientist Padma Vibhushan Dr. RS Paroda, Olympian medalist Devendra Zazadia, academics, writers, scientists, businessmen, social activists and dignitaries of the Jat community were present. Best performers in other fields including IAS, RAS, Police Service, Agriculture in the program

Honored the students. Speaking on the occasion, Teja said that not a single leader of our class has spoken in Parliament on the martyrdom of farmers.

I told the PM, you have a wrong assumption

Satya Malik said that he had met the Prime Minister and told him about the agitation and said that he had a wrong assumption. The farmer will fight for his right at every step. There are some misconceptions, neither Sikhs nor Jats can be defeated. Farmers demand MSP, which should be given to them. Satya Malik, while waving the flag at the farmers' red fort, said that the first right belongs to the Prime Minister and the second to us but it was also made an unnecessary issue.

The governor of Meghalaya said, "I will come next time, then I will speak openly because next time I may not be the governor." On the first day, when he was on the side of the farmers, he decided that he would leave the governor's chair if there was any call from Delhi.
