Mumbai: CBI Director Subodh Kumar Jaiswal has been summoned by the Mumbai Police Cyber ​​Cell to inquire into the leaking of information by the Maharashtra Intelligence Department regarding phone tapping and transfer of IPS officers.

The summons, sent by e-mail, asked him to appear before the cyber cell on October 14. The cyber department is investigating the case under the Official Secrets Act. When Maharashtra State Intelligence Department (SID) Commissioner Rashmi Shukla was there, Subodh Kumar Jaiswal was the DGP of Maharashtra.

At the time, an illegal recording was allegedly made by Rashmi Shukla regarding the transfer posting and a report was also prepared which was released to the media by Opposition Leader Devendra Fadnavis. At the time only the report was said to have been leaked but the recording was not released. Following the incident, a case was registered by the Mumbai Crime Branch's cyber cell against an unidentified person under the Official Secrets Act.
