Term-1 examination of CBSE Std. 10-12 will be taken offline

The Term-1 examinations of Std 10 and 12 will be held offline in November-December and the timetable will be released on October 15, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said in a statement.

The board further said that the examination will be objective and the duration of the examination will be one and a half hours i.e. 30 minutes. Considering the winter season, the time of this examination will be kept at 11.30 am instead of 10.30 am.

It may be mentioned that in view of the Kovid epidemic, a new examination system has been introduced by the CBSE in July, according to which the syllabus has been reduced and a two-term exam will be conducted.

According to CBSE Examination Controller Samyam Bhardwaj, the final results will be announced at the end of the first and second term examinations. The practical examination and internal assessment will be completed in the schools before the completion of the first term examination.

Bhardwaj further said that the second term examination will be held in March-April, 207. The condition of the corona in the country will be taken into consideration whether the examination is of objective or subjective type.
