Swedish artist Lars Wilkes has died in a road accident. He became the center of discussion around the world by creating a controversial cartoon of the Prophet. There was a huge controversy in the cartoon about putting the head of the Prophet on the body of a dog. Wilkes created a cartoon that was published in a Danish newspaper in 2006. Sweden's then-Prime Minister Frederick Ranfeld met with ambassadors from seven Muslim countries to ease the situation. Al-Qaeda in Iraq has announced a લાખ 100,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Lars Wilkes. In 2015, Wilkes attended a conference on freedom of expression in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.

The bullets were fired at the convention, which Wilkes believed was his own target. Although Wilkes survived, a film director died. Wilkes always believed in rights and freedom of expression. His cartoons were attached only as an expression by some supporters in the West. According to the information received, Wilkes was sitting in a police vehicle and a car collided with a truck in the southern Swedish city of Mercury. In addition to Lars Wilkes, two police officers also died at the scene while the truck driver was seriously injured. Vulcas, 6, received death threats after being molested by the Prophet Mohammad, so he lived under tight police security. In the Muslim religion, drawing a picture of the Prophet was a blasphemy, which frightened the Muslims.

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. According to local media, the police vehicle in which Wilkes was traveling was running very fast. Wilkes's car lost its balance and crashed into another side of the road. As soon as the information was received, emergency personnel rushed to the spot. Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, who produced another cartoon of the Prophet last July, also died at the age of eight.
