Relief before the festival: The lowest number of corona cases after 230 days, even active cases below two lakh

New delhi date. Monday 18 October 2021

The festive season has begun. In a few days, festivals like Dhanteras, Diwali and Chhath will also come closer. The relief is that the condition of the corona in the country is constantly improving. In the last 24 hours, 230 days, the first time in eight months, have seen the lowest number of corona patients, according to figures released by the health department on Monday. There were 13,596 infections in 24 hours, compared to 14,146 on Sunday.

The number of active cases in the country has also come down sharply due to the constant incidence of coronary heart disease. Now the number of active cases has reached below two lakh. A total of 1,89,694 people are currently infected in the country, according to figures released on Monday.

166 deaths in 24 hours

There have been 166 deaths across the country in the last 24 hours, according to health department figures. The death toll from Corona has since risen to 4,52,290. The total number of infected has risen to 3,40,81,315 since the new case came to light on Sunday.

Investigations dropped to one lakh

While there may be some relief in the number of corona infections, there is another fact that corona infections in the country have also declined rapidly. According to the latest information, investigations are being reduced to one lakh. As of October 4, RTPCR of more than seven lakh samples was being tested in a daily test. Now this number is steadily declining.

In the last one to two days, only six lakh samples out of 11 were tested by RTPCR. So far 59.09 crore samples have been tested. ICMR experts believe that the number of missing cases is on the rise due to the lack of RTPCR investigations. In which there is a risk of spreading the infection. The report found shocking that not a single sample in Bihar and Andhra Pradesh was tested with the RTPCR technique during the festival.
