New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the country's largest health scheme and said that now even the children of the poor will become doctors. While handing over the Living India Healthy Infrastructure Mission to the nation, Modi slammed previous governments for their poor health. He also praised the plan.

Modi said that today I would like to send my best wishes to the people of the country from the land of Kashi. Investing to keep the body healthy is the best. No attention was paid to health facilities after independence. Being in government for a long time, it deprived the people of health facilities. The condition of health facilities from village to city has been very bad.

The patient and his family are facing difficulties. The lack of a health care system has plagued the poor and middle class. The solution to this problem is the Healthruth Mission. PM Modi said that in the next four to five years, critical care units will be empowered in villages, blocks, districts, cities and metros. Attention is being paid to the hill states and the eastern states.

Prime Minister Modi said that health and wellness centers are being opened in villages and cities. Timely information of diseases will facilitate treatment. The scheme is being prepared in 12 central hospitals at the national level. A 24-hour Emergency Operations Center will be set up. The country has 80 viral diagnostic labs and will be made more capable.

It may be noted that the government has claimed that the infrastructure of each district will be developed under this scheme. Which will make him self-sufficient. Under the scheme, the government will spend Rs 64,000 crore over five years. 15 BSL-3 laboratories of ICMR and NCDC will be prepared. Beds and other facilities in hospitals will be increased.
