Petrol in Madhya Pradesh Rs. LPG prices likely to rise before Diwali

After a two-day hiatus, both petrol and diesel prices were hiked by 3 paise today. In the border districts of Madhya Pradesh, the price of petrol has crossed Rs 150 and diesel has come close to Rs 110. Besides, the price of petrol in Balaghat, which borders Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra, has gone up to Rs 114.5. LPG cylinder prices are also likely to rise in the coming weeks.

According to Abhishek Jaiswal, owner of a petrol pump in Bijru, Anuppur, today the price of petrol has gone up by Rs 3 to Rs 120.5. કારણે Diesel price has gone up to Rs.

According to Jaiswal, petrol is brought to Anuppur from the Jabalpur oil depot, 20 km from the district headquarters. Due to which the price of petrol and diesel is higher here as compared to other areas of the state.

Meanwhile, the price of petrol in Bhopal has gone up by Rs 113.5 and diesel by Rs 103.01. According to petrol pump owners in the border areas of Madhya Pradesh, as petrol and diesel are cheaper in Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra, most motorists are going to these states to test petrol and diesel. Due to which the business of petrol pumps here has declined.

Meanwhile, according to sources, the loss incurred by oil companies in selling an LPG cylinder has gone up to Rs 100. As a result, the price of LPG cylinders is likely to go up in the coming weeks.

According to sources, the price of LPG cylinders will go up depending on the government's approval. Earlier, on October 8, the price of LPG cylinder was hiked by Rs 15. The price of LPG cylinder has gone up by Rs 50 since July.

According to sources, the loss on LPG cylinder sales has crossed Rs 100 due to rising international prices. This month, the price of Saudi LPG has risen by 20 per cent to 200 per tonne. Crude, meanwhile, rose to 2.7 a barrel.
