NDPS Court rejects Aryan's bail plea

- Arya also chatted with a newcomer actress about drugs

- Arbaaz Merchant, Moonmoon Dhamecha also jailed along with Aryan without bail

Mumbai: A special NDPS court today rejected the bail pleas of actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan and his friend Arbaaz Merchant, Moonmoon Dhamecha, who were arrested in a high-profile case of having a rave party on a cruise ship near Mumbai. Thus the difficulty of the Aryans has increased.

Aryan, Arbaaz, Moonmoon Dhamecha's jail term has increased without getting bail. On the other hand, an application has been filed in the High Court for Aryan's bail. An early hearing on the petition is also said to have been requested. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has also found evidence of a drug deal between Aryan and a budding actress involved in a drug party controversy. It is learned that the NCB has also given the information of this chat to the court.

Earlier, the court had stayed Aryan's bail plea till October 30. The special NDPS court judge adjourned the hearing to Thursday after hearing strong arguments from both the parties. Thus a hearing on his application was held again today.

NCB has found a drug-related chat between an actress and Aryan in a cruise ship drugs party case. Apart from this, the chat of Aryan and some drug peddlers was also presented in the court. Thus, after hours of argument in the court, the application of Arbaaz, Moonmoon Dhamecha besides Aryan has been rejected and now his jail term has been extended.

The NCB claimed that Aryan had an affair with an international drug peddler. Aryan's lawyer rejected the claim.

Earlier, the NCB had told the court in protest of the bail application that the evidence showed that Aryan was a regular drug dealer. Aryan was thus granted judicial custody without bail. He was held at Arthur Road Prison. Police Commissioner Hemant Nagarale had ordered an inquiry.

The second October raid was carried out after the NCB received information about a drug party at the cruise. The NCB seized cocaine, hashish, mephedrone and other drugs during the raid.

NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik has expressed doubts over the role of NCB's Sameer Wankhede in the Aryan Khan chapter.

Samir Wankhede, zonal director, NCB, complained that he was being chased. But the RTPCR codeword was used to enter this party in Mumbai.

The NCB team captured Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Moonmoon Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaiswal, Vikrant Chokar, Gomit Chopra and others. About the cruise, however, Arya claimed to have been invited as a guest. In a video obtained by NCB, Aryan was seen at the party wearing a white T-shirt, red open shirt, blue jeans and a hat. To join the party, pants, underwear, sewing on the inside of the collar of the shirt and the woman hid drugs in the handle of the purse are said to have brought drugs. Instagram was used for invitations to the party.
