Jammu and Kashmir: Encounter in Chanpora, a terrorist shooting


Two people, including a policeman, were arrested in connection with a drone strike in Kashmir. Weapons were thrown to help the militants in the Satwari sector.
Jammu and Kashmir police constable Ishfaq Malik and two others have been arrested by the police. The accused threw weapons from the drone. The weapons were dropped to help the terrorists.
In Chanpora, on the other hand, there was a clash between security forces and militants. One terrorist was killed. The entire area was cordoned off and a search operation was conducted. A team of security forces arrived on the scene and opened fire. One terrorist was killed in the retaliatory firing.
Strict security arrangements were put in place as Union Home Minister Amit Shah was scheduled to arrive in Kashmir on May 9. Meanwhile, a quantity of explosives was recovered from Baramulla. The terrorists planted an explosive device at the bus station, but a team of security forces deactivated it.
Internet service was shut down in many sensitive areas following the arrival of Amit Shah. As Home Minister Amit Shah's first visit to Kashmir after the removal of 20 from Jammu and Kashmir, tight security is being arranged. Checking of all vehicles has started. A convoy of troops has been rocked in sensitive areas.
