(PTI) New delhi date. 3

The government is committed to supplying the Covid-12 vaccine to other countries, a senior government official said today. The supply of the vaccine to other countries will begin by the end of this year. He said production would also be started by the end of the year to meet domestic demand and export.

However, the official said that the export of vaccines to other countries would have to be coordinated with our country's vaccination program.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said India remained committed to making the vaccine available to other countries. However, the vaccine will be exported keeping in view India's own needs.

India has also exported corona vaccine but stopped exporting it in April following the rise in cases of another deadly corona wave. Now that more than 100 crore doses of vaccine have been given in India, the government wants to resume vaccine exports.

It is worth mentioning that the Covid-12 vaccine is considered very important in today's age of cars. Currently, there are many countries in the world where this vaccine is produced. These are among the few countries involved. India has exported the vaccine in the past and is now in a position to do so again.
