If Pakistan does not improve, we will go on surgical strike again: Amit Shah

There is no harm in gravelling at the border

The question will be asked in the language in which the answer will also be given in that language: Shah

New Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah has warned Pakistan to stay within limits. He said that if Pakistan continued to support the killing of civilians by militants in Kashmir and crossed the border, there would be one more surgical strike on it.

Union Minister Amit Shah said that when Poonch was attacked two years ago, India had for the first time carried out a surgical strike to show what could happen if the border was tampered with. For the first time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar proved how conscious India is of securing its borders.

He said the whole country will remember Manohar Parrikar for two things. He gave his identity to Goa and secondly he gave one rank, one pension to the three armies. Amit Shah was speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of National Forensic Sciences University at Dharbandora in Goa.

He added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country's attitude has changed significantly. Earlier, terrorists used to cross the country's borders. Extremism was spreading, in response to which nothing happened except a statement from the Delhi Durbar. But when the attack took place in Poonch, India showed that it was not a pity if someone had done gravelling on its border.

Shah said that Modi-Parikar started a new era. He showed that such a question should be answered. He gave a clear message that Pakistan should be prepared for one more surgical strike if it does not rise above its moves.
