If Aryan does not get bail in two days, will he stay in jail till November 15?

Mumbai, October 27, 2021, Wednesday

The issue of granting bail to actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryankhan after he was caught in a drugs case is under discussion. Attempts are made to bail Aryan but to no avail. He could not get bail even from the Bombay High Court on Wednesday. The Aryan Drugs chapter has come under scrutiny after Narcotics Bureau officer Sameer Wankhede was accused of bribery. An army of expert lawyers has been deployed to secure the release of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan on bail, but the jail term is getting longer. Attempts by the Bombay High Court to release his son, who was lodged in the Arthur Road jail after the sessions court denied him bail three times, were also unsuccessful.

The High Court, after hearing the arguments of both the parties, stayed the decision till Thursday. NCB officers are opposing bail based on the evidence found in the drugs case. Some legal experts believe that if Aryan Khan is not granted bail in seven days, his jail term could be extended till November 15. This can lead to more than two weeks in jail. This is because the Diwali vacation is starting from November 1. Therefore, the court hearing in the routine case will be closed till November 15. Only urgent cases will be prosecuted. After 14th November, 14th and 17th are Saturdays and Sundays. Seeing this, the court proceedings are likely to start from November 15. Therefore, the next two to three days are important for the Shah Rukh Khan family to fight a legal battle to get Aryan bail.
