MOSCOW: Holidays have been declared from Saturday to November 7 to curb the rising number of new cases and deaths of corona in Russia. The highest number of new daily cases of corona in Russia

The death toll rose to 40,096 while the total death toll in Corona now stands at 2,35,057 following 1159 deaths. Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a holiday from October 30 to November 7 with the aim of slowing the spread of corona infection.

Government and private offices, entertainment venues, bar-restaurants and all businesses will also be closed during this period. Shops selling only essentials and organizations providing services will continue.

However, taking advantage of the long holiday announced by the government before the harsh winter, Russians have flocked to the coastal areas to enjoy vacations, while bookings for package tours to Egypt and Turkey have also skyrocketed. Authorities in southern Russia have closed entertainment venues and restricted access to bar-restaurants to prevent further cases of corona.

Authorities have blamed the slow rate of vaccinations for the steady rise in corona cases and deaths. Out of a population of 146 million, barely 49 million Russians have been vaccinated against corona.

A total of 2,38,258 new cases of corona were reported in the world, bringing the total number of corona cases to 246,000,106, while the total number of corona deaths following 4718 deaths was 49,92,068. A total of 46,597,003 cases were reported in the U.S., with 78,932 new cases of corona reported, and a total of 7,61,856 corona deaths occurred with 1,594 deaths, according to the WorldDometer website.

The top five countries with the highest number of corona cases are USA-46,597,003, Brazil-21,766,168, UK-8,938,965, Russia-8,220,975 and Turkey-7,935,977.

In China, too, 270 cases of corona have been reported since October 17. Pre-war mode operations have been carried out in about a dozen provinces following the rise in corona cases. In which strict restrictions have been imposed. These restrictions are having a severe economic impact on tourism and catering companies.

Businesses in the 13-million-strong city of Heilongjiang province, which borders the Russian city of Hait, have been shut down following four cases of corona. People have been banned from traveling in public. Air and train services have also been suspended.

A shortage of two billion syringes is looming in Africa due to the rising number of corona vaccines in low- and middle-income countries. The 2.2 billion auto-disposable syringes cannot be reused as they automatically lock.

Only five of Africa's 54 countries are expected to achieve the goal of vaccinating 40 per cent of people by the end of the year. The World Health Organization said the lack of syringes would hamper the progress of vaccinations. Syringe delays have been delayed in South Africa, Rwanda and Kenya.

Restrictions eased as cases fell in Australia

The risk of getting corona infection from a friend who has not been vaccinated is 20 times higher!

MELBOURNE: Following the announcement of corona controls in pubs and restaurants in the state of New South Wales from December 1, the question now is whether vaccinators can be infected with corona by meeting non-vaccinators.

The Victorian Department of Health said in a report that meeting non-vaccinators increases the risk of corona infection by ten times compared to non-vaccinators. If a person mixes with a person who has not been vaccinated and later meets someone else, they are also at risk of getting a corona infection.

However, many factors, such as what vaccine the vaccinator has received and how long it has been since, have contributed to coronary heart disease. The reduction in the number of corona cases in Australia and the easing of lockdowns in the states of Victoria and New South Wales has led to an increase in the number of people going to work and attending social events.
