Calling on farmers to stop railways across the country today, the front said the protest would be peaceful

The Nationwide Rail Stop program was announced on Monday by the United Farmers Front. It has been decided to disrupt rail transport for 6 hours from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on October 18. In the meantime, the Front has made it clear that it will not cause any damage to the railway property and all organizations have been urged to protest peacefully. Along with the Indian Railways, the police administration has made preparations in this regard keeping in view the call of the farmers.

In support of other demands including justice in the case of death of farmers at Lakhimpur Kheri and dismissal of the Union Minister of State, the farmers on Monday announced a stop rail program. Kalash Yatras will be organized in other states including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab with the bones of farmers who lost their lives in the incident at Lakhimpur Kheri. The United Kisan Morcha has set up picket fronts at toll plazas, corporate malls and petrol stations across the country and outside the residences of BJP leaders.

According to farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, the central government has been trying to spoil the agitation for a long time. The government is behind everything that happened at the Indus border. The government should not look at our movement and the Indus Border incident together. The government can worsen the situation at the border at any time. Tikait termed the incident at the Indus border as a government conspiracy.
