MUMBAI: The cryptocurrency market rallied on Dussehra today. Bitcoin prices jumped to the level of 60 thousand dollars today. Earlier in April, the price had touched a high of ркеી 64,000 to 65 65,000, which then dropped to a low of 29 29,000.

Bitcoin prices soared today as instructions from the US Securities and Exchange Commission approved Bitcoin ETFs. Unemployment in the US and lower-than-expected retail sales led to a rise in the dollar index in global markets, which also had a positive effect on the cryptocurrency market today.

Bitcoin prices jumped from 56 56871 to 8 56872 today and then bounced from 3 60326 to 3 60327 to 99 59930 to 99 59932. Bitcoin's market cap jumped from 108 1,085 billion to 11 1,100 billion, reaching 11 1,130 billion today. Bitcoin traded between 69 1.69 billion and 70 1.70 billion today.

Bitcoin was followed by other cryptocurrencies today. Midcap ether prices were today at a low of 37 3735 to 3 3736 and a high of 5 3858 to 3859 from 10 3810 to 15 3815. Ether today saw its market cap rise from 44 447 billion to 8 448 billion.

While trading volume ranged from 25 1.25 billion to 30 1.30 billion. In small cap crypto today, XRP prices were 109 to 110 cents lower and 116 to 117 cents higher at 112 to 113 cents.

The XRP traded between 70 5.70 billion and 75 5.75 billion today and the market cap rose to 1 111 to 2 112 billion. Meanwhile, there were indications that the number of crypto investors in India had increased to over 100 million. The Russian president also hinted that the importance of Bitcoin would increase.
