Attack on Hindus in Bangladesh was planned: RSS

The RSS has reacted to recent attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. He told a three-day meeting of the All India Working Committee of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Dharwad, Karnataka, that conspiracies were being hatched to eliminate and expel minorities in Bangladesh.

Attacks on Hindus are part of a conspiracy. Deliberate misinformation was spread and religious friction arose. The RSS has accused the United Nations and human rights abusers of having a double standard. The RSS says the UN is silent on attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh.

Passing the resolution at a meeting of the RSS's All India Working Committee, Joint General Secretary Arun Kumar said the union demanded an investigation into the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and stern action against anyone found guilty. We demand from the Central Government that those measures for the security of Hindutva in the world be heavy and also talk to the Government of Bangladesh on this matter.

Durga pandals were targeted in Bangladesh. In different places, mobs attacked Durga pandals. Meanwhile, four Hindus were killed and several others were injured in the firing. The ISKCON temple was also attacked. One devotee was killed in the attack.

The houses of Hindus were targeted a few days after the attack on the ISKCON temple. About 50 houses were set on fire. Meanwhile, the houses of about 20 Hindus were completely burnt down.
