As such: The British will have to quarantine India for 10 days

New Delhi, Dt

The government of India has slapped the British government for recognizing the Indian Corona vaccine certificate and has decided to remain in quarantine for 10 days for the British coming to the country. India has taken this step in response to the controversial British rule for residents of many countries, including India, as well as the non-recognition of India's Corona vaccine certificate, even though the status of corona in India is under control.

Earlier, Britain had excluded only the Covishield vaccine from being approved in India, which India had opposed, adopting a "like-for-like" policy. The British government then approved the Covishield vaccine, but raised technical objections to the certificate.

This rule announced by India will come into force from October 4. No exemption is granted to persons holding citizenship of any country under these rules. Every tourist coming from Britain has to stay in quarantine for 10 days. Not only that, there is no provision for vaccination status. A traveler from Britain must remain in quarantine even if he has taken two doses of the corona vaccine. Apart from this, some rules have been fixed for coming to India. For tourists arriving from the UK, the Corona RTPCR test report must be kept up to 3 hours before the trip.

Apart from this, RTPCR test will also be done after arrival at the airport. Once again 3 days after arrival in India, the tourist will have to go through this test. After coming to India, it will be necessary to stay in quarantine for 10 days at home or related address. The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Aviation of the Government of India have ordered the implementation of these rules.

The British government announced new guidelines on the Corona epidemic, effective October 4. The Covishield vaccine was not included in the list of approved vaccines. India protested against this. The British then approved the Covishield vaccine, but the problem remained with the Covin certificate issued for vaccination in India. As a result, Indian tourists were not relieved even after the vaccine was approved.

It is being reported that even those who have taken two doses of vaccine in India have not been vaccinated due to non-recognition of Corona vaccine in India. In addition, under the rules on corona vaccine imposed on Britain last month, citizens of countries such as the United States, Israel and Australia who have taken full doses of the vaccine will be allowed to enter the UK from October 4. The people of these countries do not need to be quarantined.

Citizens with full vaccinations from other countries, on the other hand, face stricter restrictions, including 10 days of home isolation. Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Sringala called the rules "discriminatory" and warned of "reciprocal action".
