Army inhumanely tortures civilians in Myanmar: electric shock

People have been suffering since the military came to power in Myanmar. Inhumane atrocities are being perpetrated on civilians. From giving electric shocks to jumping like a frog is punishable. Numerous civilians are still missing.
Myanmar has been under military rule since last February. Numerous people protesting against the military rule were arrested and imprisoned. More than 1,500 people have been locked up in jails worse than hell. As many as 150 people have been killed so far.
Cruel officers of the army inflict inhumane torture on civilians. An electric current was passed through the body of an accountant. A Buddhist beggar was forced to jump like a frog. An artist was hit in the head until he fainted.
Myanmar's military has detained a large number of young people. Prisoner conditions are made worse than hell during interrogation. Buddhist monks were tortured and photographed. Buddhist hermits were forced to dress like ordinary citizens.
Army officers keep prisoners in places where toilets are not even available. Vandalism is perpetrated by keeping the finish in a dark closet. For days these prisoners remain locked in dark cells. The small jail holds 50-60 inmates at a time. Snow is poured on the heads of the prisoners. Too cold or too hot water is poured on their bodies.
