New Delhi: Women lawyers are demanding 50 per cent reservation in the judiciary. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Justice NV Ramanna said that women need to raise their voices more if 50 per cent reservation is required in the judiciary.

The chief justice made the statement at an event organized by women lawyers. Chief Justice N V Ramanna said, "I do not want women to mourn for 50 per cent reservation in the judiciary."

If you want this reserve you have to ask loudly with enough passion. The chief justice said women have been kept oppressed for years. So women are entitled to reserves. This is not a donation but a matter of rights.

"Every law school in the country should have 50 per cent reservation for women and I fully support that," the chief justice said. So that women can also get their rights in the judiciary.

An event was organized by the women lawyers of the Supreme Court for the nine newly appointed judges in the Supreme Court. While speaking, the Chief Justice upheld the demand that women should also get reservation in the judiciary.
