New Delhi: The NIA is gearing up to fight terrorism in the country anew. In the ongoing probe against the banned terrorist organization Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in a terror funding case, the NIA will conduct raids on various Jamaat-e-Islami cells in Jammu and Kashmir next week.

The raid is being planned as the agency has found some evidence. "We have found evidence linked to more than a dozen JEI cadres and banned organizations," the official said.

An official said 10 cadres and suspects of Jamaat-e-Islami had been interrogated at the agency headquarters for more than a week and more than five suspects were also being interrogated.

"We are investigating some of the people involved in the JEI case," the official said. And he will be summoned soon. Because investigation is an ongoing process.
