Saudi Arabia came out openly in support of the Taliban

Pakistan has been openly supporting the new Taliban regime in Afghanistan from the very beginning. China has also announced આર્થિક 2.1 billion in aid to the Taliban government. Now Saudi Arabia has also come out openly in support of the Taliban.

In its first reaction to the Taliban's rule in Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia said it hoped the arrival of an interim government would help bring "stability" to the war-torn nation and curb violence and extremism. However, Saudi Arabia criticized other countries' interference in Afghanistan, saying "we will support the choices made by Afghan citizens about the future of their country, away from external interference," said Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Saudi Arabia's foreign minister.
