New Corolla rules for international tourists in US: Russian President Putin to spend more time in self-isolation

WASHINGTON: The total number of corona cases rose to 227,471,677 with 2,46,293 new corona cases reported worldwide, while the total death toll from corona rose to 46,77,080 with 4,578 deaths.

Corona's daily cases have risen again in the US. A total of 1,64,509 new cases of corona were reported in the USA yesterday and 2282 people died. Even today, seventeen and a half thousand new cases and 219 deaths have been registered. The total number of corona cases in the USA is 42,497,348 while the death toll is 6,85,242.

White House sources, meanwhile, said the Biden administration is likely to apply contact tracing to international visitors as new cases of corona continue to rise.

White House Corona Virus Response Coordinator Jeffrey Zeint said the current system will continue until the administration implements a new system to regulate international travel because of the steady rise in Corona cases. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will play an important role in the new system. We will implement contact tracing so that the CDC can contact all international travelers coming to the US.

We are also setting standards for foreign nationals traveling in the US to be vaccinated against corona. Currently the US does not admit most non-American tourists who have traveled in 14 days to China, India, UK, Europe, Brazil and other countries. Airlines and other travel companies are increasing pressure on the government to ease these restrictions.

Meanwhile, a study published in the journal Nature Medicine has made it possible to predict how much oxygen Corona patients will need during hospital treatment using an AI tool based on data from 10,000 Corona patients around the world.

To measure the accuracy of this AI tool, patient data from a number of hospitals across five continents were obtained and the tool was experimented on. The specificity of the prediction that the patient would need oxygen within 24 hours of being admitted to the emergency department was found to be more than 88 percent.

The study used a technique called Federated Learning to analyze patients' chest X-rays and electronic health data.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, who was on self-isolation two days ago, said via video link at a summit of the Collective Treaty Security Organization that a number of people around him had contracted the corona and that he thought he would have more days of self-isolation.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said those infected were mainly heads of state and those in charge of the president's security. But no case has been found serious.

With the honor of being the first to develop the corona vaccine, less than 30 percent of people in Russia have received both doses of the corona vaccine. In a country of 145 million people, 7.2 million people are infected with the corona and 1,95,835 people have died due to the corona.
