After the second wave of Corona, most of the research agencies reduced their growth estimates to single digits. However, following the rapid growth seen after the unlock, rating agencies have raised their estimates of India's growth rate. NCAER has projected India's GDP to be 10 per cent for FY 2021-2.

Economic think tank NCAER (National Council of Applied Economic Research) has revised India's GDP estimates to double digits. NCAER's Poonam Gupta said the main reason behind the increase was that supply was now normal.

In addition, the demand for traditional and contact services has increased. On the other hand, the global economy is also starting to recover. If the Indian economy continues in this way, new job opportunities will be created. If jobs grow, people will have more money and they will spend more. Which will increase demand. Increasing demand will increase production.

However, the NCAER said India would have to work hard to maintain a growth rate of seven to eight per cent in the coming years. The first woman Director General of NCAER further said that India's GDP will also depend on the future status of Corona in the country.
