India is at the forefront of spreading false information about Korona on social media

New Delhi: India has been at the forefront of spreading various misinformation on social media about the Kovid-12 epidemic and the heirs of the corona that spread it. This is due to the large number of Internet users in India, according to a recent survey.

It is pertinent to mention that there was a flurry of misinformation on social media in India about the cure for the epidemic of covid. One out of every ten people who use the net was the one who spread the most misinformation about what and how to treat covid without knowing it. However, the survey noted that the Internet was also the most used medium in the Corona era to spread such misinformation.

The survey, entitled Prevention and Source Analysis of Covid-12 Misinformation in 12 Countries

Was also published in the journal. During this survey, out of the misinformation spread in 12 countries of the world about the epidemic of Kovid-12, 9 misinformation was reviewed. In order to understand the source of misinformation in different countries of the world, 7 organizations and institutions had re-examined this misinformation and tried to know the extent of truth and facts in the misinformation spread.

The survey found that India had the highest number of misinformation spread in various countries on social media about the Kovid-12 epidemic and its treatment, at 12.06 per cent. For various reasons, the survey said that perhaps in India

Due to the fact that the number of people using the Internet is the highest and in addition the lack of adequate knowledge and information about the use of the Internet in India, such factors may be responsible for spreading the most false information.

The top countries affected by the spread of misinformation on the Internet include India (12.5 per cent), the United States (2.8 per cent), Brazil (2.8 per cent) and Spain (2.06 per cent).

The various platforms of the internet and social media were blamed for spreading misinformation about Kovid's treatment and Corona's transition.
