Google-Apple removed eight million mobile apps from its platform

New Delhi: Leading technology companies Google and Apple have removed eight lakh mobile apps from their Play Store and App Store in the first six months of this year. Before the mobile app was removed, it was downloaded 3 billion times on the Google Play Store and 31 million times on Apple's App Store. The information comes from a report by California-based research firm Pixlet. According to Pixlet, 86 percent of mobile apps have been removed from the Google Play Store. On the other hand, 89 percent of mobile apps have been deleted from Apple's App Store. The app targeted 12-year-olds.

In addition, 25 per cent of apps on the Play Store and 59 per cent of apps on the App Store violated the privacy policy.

The report further states that 50 lakh apps were tested on both the platforms. The app received 2.1 million customer reviews and ratings. So even after this app has been removed from Play Store and App Store, it is possible to have it in the phone of the app users.

Google and Apple removed the Fortnight app from their platforms last year. They made this decision because it started taking payments directly from users. The option of direct payment was made available in this app. Google said the game violated my policy. So the app has been removed from the platform.

Speaking of the Fortnight app, this is an online game. More than 3 crore users are connected with this game. Users can confront each other with different weapons.
