Dragons will be swallowed up by bankrupting Sri Lanka

New Delhi: There is a well-known dialogue in Hindi film that Akhir Jis Ka Dar Tha Wahi Hua. This dialogue sits very close to the current situation in Sri Lanka. Now that Sri Lanka has gone bankrupt due to the deteriorating financial situation following the Koro crisis, it is now quite likely that it will be swallowed up by China.

Sri Lanka has also given its Hambantota port and some other government properties to China for use. Now bankruptcy may bring Sri Lanka to the point where it will have to hand over such assets to China forever.

He is also likely to have to borrow from China to run the country. Under these circumstances, Sri Lanka is likely to fall more and more into the clutches of China. Sri Lanka's economy was largely dependent on tourism and tea exports. Corona has now hit both. As a result, Sri Lanka's financial situation has deteriorated. At the very least, the Sri Lankan government had to bear the burden of vaccinating the entire population. The matter dealt another blow to his deteriorating financial position.

China has also taken control of Asian countries by making similar financial lending and then acquiring one property after another. He is currently doing the same in Pakistan and has now taken over Sri Lanka as well. If India remains as inactive on this front as it is on the Afghan front, it may not be a surprise if China snatches Sri Lanka out of India's hands forever. China is believed to have seized almost all of Sri Lanka's government property using its vast financial resources. Even Sri Lanka has no choice but to accept the deal if China helps it.
