Digital transactions bring cleanliness to the economy: PM Modi says 'Mann Ki Baat'

PM Modi addressed the nation through Mann Ki Baat today. This was the 81st episode of Mann Ki Baat.

Informing about the importance of rivers in his program on the occasion of World River Day today, PM Modi said that river is a living unit for us and as much as we call rivers mother. Most of our festivals take place in the lap of the river.

"After the rainy season, the sixth festival is celebrated in Bihar and the east and I hope that cleaning has started for it on the ghats on the banks of the rivers," he said. Why the rivers are getting polluted. However, I have to say that this is why the government has started the Namami Ganga campaign.

"As part of the nectar festival of independence, we also want to bring to the fore the freedom fighters who have never been discussed," he said.

At the same time, PM Modi said that we need to pay homage to Gandhiji through cleanliness. He explained the importance of cleanliness by linking it with freedom.

At the same time, referring to economic hygiene, he said that it is true that technology can help in economic hygiene. It is gratifying that digital transactions are taking place in villages today as well. Crores of rupees are paid digitally, which is helping to bring cleanliness to the economy.
