BJP Announced in-charge of five election states, including the region


- Start preparations for next year's elections

New Delhi: Assembly elections are going to be held in five states, including Uttar Pradesh, next year. Whose preparations have been initiated by the political parties. The BJP has announced the names of those in charge of these states. In which the responsibility of Uttar Pradesh has been given to Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The state with the highest number of 303 seats is considered the most important.

While Union Minister Gajendrasinh Shekhawat has been made in-charge of Punjab. A. Apart from the state, Punjab, Assembly elections are also being held in Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand. The list of BJP in-charges includes Dharmendra Pradhan, Gajendra Shekhawat, Anurag Singh Thakur, Arjun Meghwal, Saroj Pandey, Shobha Karandlaj, Captain Abhimanyu, Annapurna Devi and Vivek Thakur.

In the 2012 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, the Congress won only seven seats, while its ally SP won seven seats. The BJP, on the other hand, won the highest number of 212 seats out of 205 in Uttar Pradesh. The BSP also won 12 seats. Apart from Uttar Pradesh, the BJP is also eyeing Punjab. In Punjab, Gajendra Singh has been made in-charge while Hardeep Singh Puri, Meenakshi Lekhi and Vinod Chavda have been appointed as his associates.

Union Minister Prahlad Joshi has been appointed in charge of Uttarakhand. While Locket Chatterjee, Sardar RP Singh will help him. Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has been given the responsibility for the Goa assembly elections. Similarly, in Manipur, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav has been given the responsibility. Currently, the BJP has a government in four of the five states where elections are to be held next year.
