At least 17 people have been killed in Kabul after gunfire erupted in celebration of the capture of Panjshir

- Bloody celebration of the Taliban

The blast on Friday injured 41 people in Kabul and 14 in Nangarhar

The Taliban went berserk in celebration of the occupation of Panjshir and barricaded guns in the air. Twelve people were killed and 31 others were injured in what became known as the Taliban's takeover of a territory still unoccupied by the Taliban. While 12 were injured in the adjoining Nangarhar district.

Opponents of the Islamist group, on the other hand, who have been fortifying Panjshir and confronting the Taliban, say it is wrong for the Taliban to occupy Panjshir.

According to the Shamshad News Agency, 18 people were killed and 31 others were injured in air strikes in Kabul on Friday. Similar reports were made by the Hollow News Agency on Saturday.

Twelve people were injured in the blasts in Nangarhar's eastern district of Nangarhar. This was stated by Gulzada Sanger, spokesperson of the hospital in Jalalabad, the main city of the province.

However, Taliban spokesman Zahidullah Mujahid has also sharply criticized the celebrations with gunfire. Mujahid tweeted, "Don't blow up, thank God." "The shootings injure civilians, so don't carry out indiscriminate blasts," he said in a Twitter message.
