Union Minister lashes out: pays homage to surviving soldiers instead of martyrs

The minister also announced a job for a family member!

Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment refrained from going there

New Delhi: What would it feel like to pay a tribute to a living person and what would happen if there was no one else to pay homage but a Union Minister. Such was the case with the family of Ravi Kumar Kuttimni, who was on duty in Jammu and Kashmir, when Union Minister Narayan Swamy reached home to pay his respects.

Narayan Swamy, Minister of State in the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, instead of paying homage to a martyred jawan, reached out to the surviving jawan and paid tributes to him. Not only that, he also announced to give government jobs and land to his family members.

He was to meet the families of the martyrs as per schedule. Narayan Swamy along with MP Shivkumar Udasi reached Mulagund in Moda district at the appointed time where he was taken to Kattimni's house.

The family was amazed to see him. He too was shocked when he was offered a government job and land, and his family felt that something must have gone wrong. At this time, BJP activists called Kattimini and talked to the minister.

Misunderstanding Narayan Swami, he took over the situation. He praised the surviving soldier and paid tribute to his family. However, they did not go to the house of martyr Jawan Basavaraj Hiremath. The mother of the martyred jawan also expressed regret that the central jawan did not come to her house. Narayan Swamy also expressed displeasure to the Sruthanik leadership for giving false information in this manner.
