The Taliban attacked the ITBP's convoy

The Taliban have been making several attempts to show their generous face after capturing Kabul, but their nature is not going to change. They understand the language of carnage and robbery. The Taliban also attacked an ITBP convoy guarding Indian embassies.

Returning from the war-torn country, the ITBP troopers told their family members that they were in Afghanistan. Shaila K, aunt of Ravi Nilagar, an ITBP jawan who returned to India safely from Afghanistan five days ago. Nilagar said Ravi told him that his team was attacked by Taliban militants while 200 ITBP personnel were being evacuated from Afghanistan. The Taliban tried to stop the group as they were boarding an Indian Air Force plane and also snatched their luggage.

He added that Ravi was saddened by the loss of his belongings, but the family was relieved that he had returned home safely. Shaila said Ravi is quarantined and will return home after 30 days for holidays. Ravi has been on duty in Afghanistan for two years. Meanwhile, the family of Tanveer, a resident of Bellary, who lives in Afghanistan with her Afghan husband Syed Jalal, has been rescued. They have returned safely from Afghanistan.
