Sabrina Lal had a liver related ailment and was undergoing treatment at Paras Hospital at Gurugram. According to family members, he was shifted to the ICU last night due to ill health and breathed his last on Sunday evening.

Sabrina was about 50 years old. She was suffering from liver cirrhosis. Her brother said that Sabrina was ill and she used to come and go to the hospital. His health deteriorated on Saturday and he was admitted to the hospital. During an interview last year, Sabrina said she was thinking of starting a foundation in her sister's memory to help women get justice.
