Monsoon session: TMC MP appeals to PM Modi, Mr Modi ... come listen to us

New delhi date. Sunday 8 August 2021

With only seven days to go before the end of the monsoon session of Parliament, not a single day has gone by that both the Houses of Parliament have been running peacefully. Every day the proceedings of the Parliament erupted and crores of rupees of the people were wasted. The Trinamool Congress has demanded that Prime Minister Modi take part in the proceedings of the House. Pegasus has become a point of resistance in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha over the espionage controversy. TMC MP Derek O'Brien posted a three-minute video of him pushing various opposition parties in Parliament, entitled "Mr Modi, come and listen to us".

The Prime Minister intervenes to end resistance in Parliament on the Pegasus issue

RJD MP Manoj Kumar Jha said the government was blocking the debate on the Pegasus issue in Parliament and Prime Minister Narendra Modi should intervene to resolve the issue. He said the monsoon session should be extended instead of the wasted time of Parliament.

In the apology, Jha also criticized the government for repeatedly insisting that it was trying to engage with the opposition. "This does not mean that you put your hand in your pocket and make a harsh expression on your face and say that we have only so much to give, nothing else," he said.

Congress targets government

"We have been demanding a debate for the last 14 days," said Congress' Mallikarjun Khadge. You are not allowing it. Now you are passing that bill. If you have the courage, start a debate in the House. A day of reporting from the global media union about the illegal use of Pegasus spyware has also become a state of resistance since the July 19 monsoon session was interrupted.

PM Modi annoyed by protests in Parliament

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is upset with the frequent shouts and adjournments in Parliament. In the last few days, at a meeting of the BJP parliamentary party, PM Modi took this and targeted the opposition. PM Modi said that neither the Opposition participates in the debate nor does it allow Parliament to function. This attitude of the opposition is unfortunate. PM Modi told a BJP MP at a parliamentary caucus meeting that Parliament was being insulted by the actions of the Opposition in both the houses. Without naming names, PM Modi said about suspended TMC MP Shantanu Sen that the person who snatched the paper and tore it up has no remorse for his actions.
