The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has outlawed the marriage of Muslim boys and girls to non-Muslims. According to Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, acting secretary general of the board, a Muslim girl can only marry a Muslim boy.

Similarly, a Muslim boy cannot marry a mushrik (polytheist). If a marriage takes place with a non-Muslim, it is not considered valid according to Shariah.

Keep an eye on the girls' mobiles

The guidelines issued by the Muslim Personal Law Board say that parents should arrange for the religious education of their children. Keep a close eye on boys and girls' mobile phones etc. Try to teach as many girls as possible in a girls school. Make sure their time is not spent outside of school.

The board said that usually a list of names of married boys and girls is already released by the registry office. Teachers of religious organizations, institutions, madrassas go to their homes with dignitaries and explain.

Do not delay the marriage of girls

- Do not delay the wedding. Especially of girls. Get married on time. Late marriage is also a big reason behind such incidents.

- Ulma-e-Kiram addresses the subject at the Jalsa and makes people aware of its harm.

- Have more and more Ijtema for women and discuss it with corrective topics.

- The imam of the mosque discusses the subject in the titles of Juma, Quran and Hadith and tells the people how to train their daughters so that such incidents do not happen.

- Marry simply. It also has barkat. There is also the protection of the race and the protection of one's precious wealth from being wasted.
