India's coronation as chairman of the United Nations Security Council has spilled over into Pakistan's stomach

Washington, Ta. Sunday 01 August 2021

India's coronation as the chair of the United Nations Security Council, the world's most powerful body, has poured oil on Pakistan's stomach. Pakistan's foreign ministry on Saturday expressed hope that India would act impartially during its tenure. "We hope that India will abide by the relevant rules and standards during its tenure," said Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry, a spokesman for Pakistan's foreign ministry.

India is a temporary member of the United Nations Security Council and has a two-year term. India has taken over as chair of the 15-member UN Security Council since Sunday. India's tenure will last for one month. The presidency of the Security Council changes every month based on the English alphabet. India became a member of the Security Council on 1 January 2021 and will have the opportunity to chair twice during his tenure.

For a month, Pakistan will not be able to discuss the Kashmir issue

A Pakistani spokesman said India had taken over the post. We would like to remind him once again that he should implement the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council on Jammu and Kashmir. India has become the chair of the Security Council at a time when the Taliban is waging murderous violence in Afghanistan with the support of Pakistan. His fight with the Afghan army continues.

According to the Pakistan newspaper, being India's president means that Pakistan will no longer be able to discuss Kashmir in the Security Council for a month. Because of this, when he became the President of India, oil spilled in the stomach of Pakistan. Pakistan is vehemently opposed to the repeal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Not only that, foreign troops are withdrawing from Afghanistan in the next one month and there could be some big developments in Afghanistan.

India will join hands with China and Pakistan in the Security Council

India can thwart the nefarious moves of Pakistan, Taliban and China through the Security Council. Pakistan has always opposed India's presence in Afghanistan. Most importantly, the program of work that India has created over the next one month's tenure. It will target China and Pakistan. India is going to discuss counter-terrorism campaign and maritime shipping security. This is bound to embarrass Pakistan and China.
