India-China agree to ease tensions over LAC


New Delhi: The armies of India and China have agreed to reduce tensions over the LAC. The 13th round of military-level talks between the two countries has been hailed as constructive. Both the Indian and Chinese armies have agreed to resolve the issues in East Ladakh expeditiously. This information was given in a joint statement issued on Monday.

The high-level military talks between India and China took place after a long period of about three and a half months. It laid special emphasis on the direction of moving forward in the process of withdrawing troops from the remaining conflict zones in eastern Ladakh. The talks took place on Saturday. The two sides also agreed that they would continue their influential efforts to ensure stability in the western region. Peace will continue jointly with him.

A joint statement from the Indian Army was issued two days after the Indo-China border talks. It said a clear and in-depth consideration would be given to the return of troops to the western sector in the Indo-China border area near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between the two sides.

According to the statement, the two sides deepened the mutual understanding and described the meeting as constructive which further developed the mutual understanding. They agreed to resolve outstanding issues expeditiously in accordance with current agreements and protocols. The two sides also agreed to maintain the momentum of the talks. The two sides also agreed to continue their impressive efforts to ensure stability on the LAC.
