Encounter in Rajouri, Kashmir: One terrorist shot dead, officer martyred

Security forces shot dead a militant in an encounter in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. An officer was martyred in the incident. Terrorists also killed a leader in Kulgam.
The security forces conducted a search operation in Thanamandi area of ​​Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on a tip-off. Meanwhile, security forces came under fire. Security forces responded to the firing. One JCO of the Army was martyred in this conflict.
Security forces shot dead a militant in the encounter. This was the second encounter in August. Earlier, on August 6, two Lashkar-e-Toiba militants were killed in Thanamandi.
Meanwhile, his party leader Ghulam Hassan was shot dead. The militants attacked him in Deosar, near Kulgam, the hometown of his party leader Ghulam Hassan. Two days ago, BJP leader Javed Ahmed Dar of the same area was also shot dead. This is the fourth attack on leaders in the last 10 days.
After the assassination of Ghulam Hassan, PDP's Mehbooba Mufti and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah tweeted criticizing the act. Leaders of all political parties reacted to the incident. Most of the party issued an official statement criticizing the political leaders and demanding protection for them.
